Winter Court 2013

The Solomon High School Winter Court festivities were held the week of February 11-15. To prepare, the student council assigned activities for each day, including Monday: Neon Day, Tuesday: Twin Day, Wednesday: Hobo Day, Thursday: Tie Day, Friday: Sports Fan Day.
Throughout the week, students also voted on candidates. Seniors Dolcey D., Eddie S., Brooke J., Josh B., Brooke W., and Kevin C. were selected as finalists for king and queen. Kindergarten students Kennedy M. and Grant S. were chosen to hold the crowns.
During halftime of the boys basketball game, Senior Taylor R. and Junior Lindsey T. introduced the candidates to the crowd. Soon, Brooke J. and Josh B. were announced as King and Queen.
The winter court dance was held in the middle school commons after the boys game against Otis-Bison.
