Solomon Graduates 35 Seniors

Class of 2013

May 11 was the Class of 2013 graduation. After the processional by the high school band, Ms. Swayne welcomed everybody to the day's ceremony. Mr. Winters then presented the salutatorian and valedictorians. The salutatorian was Alexis B. and the valedictorians were Kevin C, Brooke J, Brooke W, and Eddie S. Students Donate Artwork for ART FOR SHELTER

Students donate art, with proceeds going to a homeless shelter in Minnesota! One picture is of some of the artwork that was submitted. Over fifty pieces were submitted, including work done by 4th graders, 5th graders, 7th graders, and high school students. Murals Around Town

Area businesses of Solomon, KS, are getting a face lift thanks to Kinsey E. and Logan E. It is being painted on the west side of Bush’s Market. They got the idea from a Solomon Community Throw. Both of them are putting a lot of their time into it. It will take about another month or so to finish. read more
