On Wednesday, August 21st Solomon USD 393 school district returned to school. On the first day students participated in various activities. Some of the activities included: learning new rules, a scavenger hunt, an academic decathlon, and checking out textbooks.
The scavenger hunt included taking pictures with your team in different areas of the school. The teams were split up by grades and one of the tasks was to spell Solomon with everyone from your team using their bodies. In the picture below the freshmen class was laying on the ground to create the letters that spell Solomon. The purpose of this activity was to give students an opportunity to participate in a team building activity.
