On Monday, December 17th starting at 6:30 p.m. the elementary through high school will be doing their Christmas concert. The band is led by Mr. Smith and the choir is led by Mrs. Rodriguez. The order the students will be performing in starts with the 5th grade band and the songs they will perform are Hot Cross Buns, Mary had a Little Lamb, March Steps, Lightly Row, a Mozart Melody, and Jingle Bells. The next performance is the pre-school choir and they will sing two different songs that are snowman themed. Next up is the 6th grade band performing When the Saints Go Marching In, Sakura Sakura, Variations on a Familiar Theme, and Upon a Housetop. The kindergarten through 2nd grade choir will sing 3 songs that are reindeer themed. The 7th and 8th graders will play March Triumphant and Canterbury Overture. Then the 3rd through 6th graders are singing 5 songs incorporating drums and other instruments.The ending section of the concert is the High school Jazz band playing Hit the Road Jack, A Jazzy Merry Christmas, and Cosmic B-Flat.
