On Saturday, January 25th the high school boys’ basketball team played for the championship of the Centre Cougar Classic. Their road to the championship was as follows: their first game was against Rural Vista and they won 40-25. Their second game was against Centre and the score was 38-33. They faced off against Elyria Christian for the championship and the score was 33-46. We talked to Coach Johnson and he said, “They played hard and we are proud of the boys.” The boys will continue their season on Tuesday, January 28th against Valley Heights.
