The middle school had a game against the Wakefield Jets on Monday, February 3rd. They came up short in the final home game of the season against Wakefield, 24-26. This was the second time playing against Wakefield. While talking to Coach Seidl he said, "Earlier this season the Gorillas lost by 17, so even though I am disappointed that we didn't get the W, our girls have really improved over the past 6-8 weeks. I am so proud of these girls and the future of the Lady Gorilla basketball team." Elise Baier led the Solomon Gorillas with 6 points. The Solomon Gorillas head into the Wheat State League tournament as the #8 seed and will play the #1 seed, Elyria Christian Eagles, at 6:30pm at Canton-Galva High School on Thursday, February 6th.
