The Solomon Board of Education is aware of an incident that occurred during a recent volleyball game in which a member of the Board entered the playing area and engaged directly with a coach. While this action was that of an individual and not representative of the Board as a whole, we recognize the concern it has caused within our community.
As a Board, we reaffirm our shared commitment to professionalism, respect, and the proper boundaries between governance and school operations. Each member of the Board values our coaches, staff, and student-athletes, and we remain united in supporting them through established procedures and policies.
The Board will review our governance practices and participate in additional training opportunities to ensure continued integrity, transparency, and public trust. We appreciate our community’s support as we continue to model the standards expected of Solomon schools—where collaboration, respect, and student success remain our top priorities.
