Solomon High School FBLA is bursting with pride as its exceptional FBLA members earned spots among the nation's elite, ranking in the top 100 teams nationally in the Fall 2025 The Stock Market Game. This remarkable achievement highlights the dedication, skill, and collaborative spirit of our students and advisor.
The Stock Market Game (SMG) is an online educational simulation where teams use virtual money (typically $100,000) to invest in real stocks, bonds, and mutual funds, learning about finance, economics, and critical thinking in a hands-on, competitive environment. It teaches valuable skills like research, decision-making, and teamwork by applying academic concepts to real-world market scenarios over a set period, and fostering financial literacy. Out of hundreds of participating schools across the country, Solomon High School's team stood out for their research, critical thinking, teamwork, and even luck.
"We are incredibly proud of our students' hard work and perseverance," said Advisor Rachel Livingston.
The achievement not only brings recognition to the school but also serves as an inspiration for younger students in the community, demonstrating that high school teams from Solomon can compete and excel on the national stage.
