On Saturday, October 17th the Solomon Gorillas High School volleyball team traveled to Little River for the Wheat State League tournament. The Gorillas played Little River and lost in two sets (21-25, 21-25). The next match they played Peabody and won in two sets (25-18, 25-17). The next match they played Elyria and lost in three sets (26-24, 21-25, 22-25). They played Elyria again and lost in three sets (25-22, 20-25, 17-25).
When we asked Coach Anderson how she felt the team played on Saturday she said, “We went 1-3 on the day, the girls played well together, never gave up but we just came up short.”
