The Gorilla Bowlers hosted Washington at Abilene's Tornado Alley. Emma took third and was Solomon's top girl. Logan was Solomon's top boy. The Bowlers travel to Hutchinson on Saturday, January 30.
Ms. Romeiser’s kindergarteners’ snowmen went on adventures and got too hot!
Mrs. Kirby’s Kindergarten Class listened to “Sneezy the Snowman” and wrote why our snowman melted.

The Earth Science class is working on constructing building to see if they can withstand shaking at three different rates.
Four of the Bowling Gorillas traveled north to Washington on Martin Luther King Day. Katherine was 2nd highest female bowler; Matthew was 4th highest male bowler. They are Solomon's top girl and top boy for the tournament. We host at Abilene Tornado Alley Friday, January 22,
The Bowling Gorillas had their first meet of the season on Thursday, January 14 at Salina against Salina Central, Salina Sacred Heart, and Valley Center. Top Girl was Taegan who was also first at the meet. Top Boy was Matthew.
Our next meet is Monday at Washington.

Bowling rolls out today for their first meet of the season in Salina. Due to regulations from our host school, no outside spectators are allowed. Wish them luck today!

Our scholars bowl teams competed in the league tournament this evening. The varsity lost a few close, tight fought rounds. The JV went undefeated and is the 2021 League Champs! Congratulations on a long, successful tournament.
Tonight's JH games vs. Little River will start at 5:00 and will be livestreamed on our YouTube channel. The full schedule in the HS gym will be A girls, B girls then C girls. In the MS gym, it will be B boys, A boys followed by C boys.
Think and Touch Friday Problem Solving! Kids learn to think outside the box.
6th grade has started their Space Unit. This is a cross curricular activity in Science and English. They will read a novel in ELA about space and then in Science they will learn about some of the different topic in Space. We started with Space Exploration. Today they are using an online simulator to try and dock a spacecraft with the International Space Station.
