Happy “Fun Friday” from First Grade! Today we watched “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” & had a Thanksgiving “feast” (pretzels, jelly beans, popcorn & toast) just like the movie. We have so much to be thankful for! 🍿🥨

Thankful for each other!!

Our 5th grade attends Starbase in Salina yearly. As well STEM is a priority at USD 393. It was great to see things that happen at Starbase also happen daily here...great work and experience by/for our students

Shout out to our PK-4 students on an amazing concert last night. The students sounded great and Mrs Rodriguez did and outstanding job as usual. Great work and talent all around! #GorillaProud

Thank you Abilene Rotary Club for donating dictionaries to our third grade students. It’s much appreciated!

Please join us tomorrow night, November 19th at 7 pm, for the PK-4th grade music program! We will be performing fall and Thanksgiving themed songs on the stage in the MIDDLE SCHOOL gym. Just a reminder that PK-4th grade students are the only students performing. We hope to see you there!

TONIGHT...Gorilla Family "Will Run for Food" Fun Run at 5:00 pm. Bring some non-perishable items for Operation Gorilla Family. Register to win a smoked turkey just in time for Thanksgiving. Afterwards, go support the Junior High basketball teams as they take on Ell-Saline.

High School girls had a great first practice this morning. #workhardgetbetter

Good morning:
Hope you are enjoying your beautiful fall weekend. Just a reminder we have a district site council on Sunday at 6pm in the HS library. Topics will include:
1. Parent Climate Survey
2. Parent-Teacher Conferences
3. Board Goal Review
4. Feb. 17th Strategic Planning Process
5. Your thoughts...
I hope you can make it live and in-person...but if not we will be going live on Facebook.

The 7th Grade students have enjoyed the Amateur Architect project! We had an expert in the field come visit to talk about his experience. Mike McCall from M Squared listened to the students speak about the details of their projects! Pictures of the 3D Models to come soon!!

We had fun today creating our “Autumn Hairstyles.”

Thanks to @avalynnowen for presenting on our Geometry in Construction class. Project based and applicable to our students future.
