Solomon fire department does a phenomenal job each year teaching our students fire safety.

We want to thank all of our bus drivers for their dedication in making a difference early in the morning, late at night, or during the day! You are the first and last person many students see. Thanks for having a great smile and warm heart! #GorillaProud

Second graders using Google pictures of the community to share with the mayor where crosswalks could go and their reasons why.

The Second graders are learning about local government. Mayor McMillen came in today to share with the students what the city council and mayor do for Solomon. The students asked questions and shared some ideas on where they thought crosswalks could go to keep students and all residents safe when crossing streets. Thank you Mayor McMillen for talking with us and listening to our ideas.

Congrats to our JH Volleyball as they have won their first two matches at league including an upset of the #1 seed. On to semifinals!
