Parents....tonight your PK-8th grader is bringing home a calendar to start recording the number of minutes they read each night or are read to by a parent! These 3rd graders are super excited to start reading tonight at home!! (Details are included with their calendar.)

Seniors have voted upon the time of graduation this year. Graduation will be Saturday, May 14th at 11:00 am in the HS gym. They are working hard to finish up their HS careers this semester and look forward to celebrating with everyone on the 14th!

Let's get excited to read in 2022!! Reading not only improves our vocabulary and academics, but studies also show it improves our mental health! Let's give our Gorillas the gift of time to read at home in 2022! Look for a calendar for PK-8th graders on Monday!

NO SCHOOL, THURSDAY, January 6 for USD 393 Solomon. Due to the snow that set in, blowing snow, and low wind chills we don't want students and buses on the road. BE SAFE, STAY WARM!
NO evening activities today either for Solomon.

Our buses hit the road at 6am to begin routes, Wind chill forecast is -12...At 8am for a two hour delay forecast it is -9. As of right now with no snow we will begin as normal. We will be up driving roads just after 4am with a decision by 5:30am. #StayWarm #BundleUP

Today we persevered to build our houses. Not all of them made it, but they enjoyed trying to build them and decorating their pieces.




Monday the fourth graders started rolling out their dough and cutting out the sides of their houses. They worked with a partner to help each other.

The Spirit of the Season is in full swing. Today pick up of family baskets takes place. Over $4000 in donations to support our Solomon families and our Senior Citizens!!! It grows every year because of COMMUNITY. #GorillaPROUD




Our First Graders had a great “Fun Friday” making their Pop-tart Gingerbread Houses. We love seeing their creativity with this project. Check out those smiles! We had so much fun! 🍭



The JH boys basketball team worked hard today helping some locals with their limbs after the big storm!

Operation Gorilla Family is in full swing. If you haven't been able to drop your canned goods or non perishable items off at a stuff the bus. Its not too late! Bring them to the Jr. High game tonight! We will have a box set up right in side the doors!

The Geometry and Geometry in Instruction classes learned about angles of reflection as they created a hole for a putt putt golf course.
