Unofficial totals from last night with all three counties unofficially in:

Regardless of how you voted I want to thank everyone for voicing your opinion. Proud of how our community handled the campaign and how we had discussions and not arguments regardless of which side you were on. Blessed to live in a small community who still respects both sides of an issue. #GorillaProud

Big thanks to those who came out today to support Kiera at the State CC meet in Victoria. She placed 28th and ran a 22:50- her second best time of the year on a surprisingly hilly course. Congrats on a super successful year!

There will be a parent meeting for basketball for all JH players after practice on Monday, November 1st. We will meet in the HS gym. Meeting will begin at 5:20 pm.

Ever wonder what is bought with your Country Mart receipts? Teachers get to make a wish list and then many great items get delivered to their classrooms for free! This is an easy way to help support Solomon Schools, just drop your receipt in the box at Country Mart!

PK-5 Family Literacy and Math Night is Wednesday, November 3 from 6:00-7:00. Bring to family and enjoy some math and reading activities. Snacks will be provided.

Depew’s 4th grade Halloween Activities. Students worked in groups to solve obstacles through a Halloween Escape room to rescue their dog that ran into a haunted house. They worked together to solve math problems in a spooky dark room. Then they learned about their hand bones and made a X-ray of their hands.

Due to the weather, the Halloween parade will be held in the high school gym.

Reminder that there is no school on Friday, October 29th. Enjoy your weekend!

Thankful to be part of the Wheat State League that allows us to meet with other math teachers and have discussions to improve our teaching. We played the Lonely Llama game today where students had to utilize their math vocabulary and communication skills to work as a team to find a solution!

Kiera will run at the state cross country meet at noon on Saturday at the Sand Plum Nature Trail in Victoria. Please come support our state qualifier!
