Our JH track team traveled to the Herington JH Quint on Thursday. 7th and 8th grade girls teams both took first and our 7th and 8th grade boys teams were second. Congrats! #Keepworking

Happy “Fun Friday,” from Mrs. Rizzo’s 1st Grade! Today had a great time building & blasting off our styrofoam cup rockets! 🚀



The 8th graders works on some engineering design in math class and created Rollercoasters. They had certain requirements and at the end will have to determine a cost.

May 18, 6:30- 5-8 grade Awards Assembly and 8th grade Recognition at the stadium, a dance will follow for the students

Varsity Golf for tomorrow at Abilene has been postponed to next Tuesday, April 27th. Start time will remain at 9:00 am.

Varsity golf at Republic County has been postponed. JV Golf will travel to Goessel tomorrow. Shotgun start will begin at 3:00 pm at Pine Ridge Golf Course.

So, so proud of our junior high for putting on the production specifically designed for Zoom. We are glued to the TV to find out who did it....GET A CLUE. #GorillaProud


Just a reminder: Next week the 3-8 grades will take the ELA state assessments.

Happy “Fun Friday,” from Mrs. Rizzo’s 1st Grade! We have been learning about the Solar System & constellations. Today we used our imagination to create & name our very own constellations made out of marshmallows. 💫⭐️



HS Track at Herington will be moved up one day to Monday, April 19th due to chance of inclement weather on Tuesday. Start times will be the same.

Between the first two track meets this year for the JH girls, these young lady’s have already broken records. Ella broke the shot put recorded with a throw of 31 ft and 9 in. While Abigale broke the 20 year old discus recorded with a throw of 78 ft even. Congrats Ladies!


Third grade had fun today playing Gaga Ball!


JV Golf on Friday at Goessel has been cancelled due to threat of inclement weather. The next meet for Golf will be Monday, April 19th at Republic County.

There is a new addition to the playground... GAGA BALL! The geometry in instruction course has been hard at work partnering with the Solomon Girl Scouts to build a GAGA ball pit for our students. Thankful for the partnership and community that supports our students!


Golf team is off and going. Nine complete so far in Chapman. Good luck Gorillas!
