Middle school basketball will begin practices on Monday from 3:45-5:15 PM. A quick parent meeting will be held at 5:30 PM.

It was a beautiful, crisp autumn day for the state cross country meet in Wamego this morning. This is a very hilly and difficult course, but everyone showed up today. Mykia finished his career with a course record and another sub-18 (17:54). His third in the last four meets. He owns 7 of the top 10 times (and 10/15) in SHS CC history. Malaki and Jaden both broke 20 for the second time in three meets. Justus ran 20:21 for the third time this year! Isaac H ran a solid 21:05. Isaac C and Ty came in together at 21:42- a PR for Ty. So proud of their effort today and all season! Thank you to everyone who showed up to support them today.

🎃 Our elementary Halloween parade yesterday was a joyful swirl of costumes, laughter, and community pride. Students brought their creativity to life with everything from classic characters to imaginative originals, and the energy was contagious!

SHS CC ran at Marion today. It was cool, raining since yesterday (6+ in.), and windy. But we persevered. It's what we do. And the boys are making a repeat trip to State at Wamego next week!! 🏆 Because of the mudpit that was the course, only one PR today. Jaylianah 31:09 🏅Mykia 4th overall🏅
