I want to congratulate Dani Hagen for winning the John Philip Sousa Concert Band Award. Dani is a do it all musician, who can play several instruments at a high level. She is Always ready to take on new challenges she has a bright future ahead. Congratulations Dani!
Tyler McLaughlin is the epitome of a hard worker who is always willing to go the extra mile in both cross country races and in the classroom. His work in English 10 was always of superb quality and his respectful attitude and kind disposition make him one of a kind!
Big congratulations to Brice Eubank for winning the Louis Armstrong Jazz Band Award. Brice showed outstanding musicianship and has an ear for music that few have. Great job this year Brice!
Congratulations on a strong finish to your senior year Kaytlynn Hahn. She is a strong writer and has a quiet, but fierce intellect, which was exhibited in her thoughtful approach to problems studied in current events class. Kaytlynn will represent Solomon in the world at large with grace, kindness, and charming wit.
Makaen Hastings is a not only a star on the basketball court, but he is proving that he can come in clutch in the classroom. He academic performance in English and Spanish I classes was always well rounded and thoughtful.
A hearty acknowledgement to Lucas Newcomer who was always willing to try new things in English class. Lucas was not only an excellent student, but he willingly stepped out of his comfort zone on countless occasions, usually achieving lovely results. Way to go Lucas!
Nevante Farris must be acknowledgments for his ever-present smile and joyful attitude. His presence is a joy in any class.
Congratulations to Arlyn Gonzalez for her outstanding leadership. Arlyn dreams of being a teacher and her work in current events class was greatly appreciated. She was a natural leader, always willing to read and lead discussions. Arlyn proved that one day she will be a fine educator.
