Is there anything better than seeing students come together and read to one another? We all had a great time celebrating “Read Across America” Day & Dr. Seuss week at school! 📚

“You do not like them. So you say. Try them! Try them! And you may!”
On Wednesday our First Graders had the chance to try green eggs & ham! Some loved them & some at least gave them a try! 🍳💚

We are so grateful to The Eisenhower Foundation for our free books the students get to take home & keep!

Oh the places we’ll go as we grow! We read the Dr. Seuss book and made our own paper mache balloons .🎈

Celebrating our final day of Dr. Seuss week with 2nd graders reading to our friends in 1st grade.

Second grade enjoying green eggs and ham in honor of Dr. Seuss😁

Final Assembly of our blankets! Crocheting is definitely not as easy as it looks but they persevered & tried their best, so proud of them!

The hydroponic system is up and running. Excited to see how the self-reliant system grows plants for our greenhouse!

Miss D’s kindergarteners had a great time today making Oobleck with Mrs. Kilgore’s 5th graders!
