Congratulations to our Junior high boys and girls for winning both games tonight in Peabody!

SHS Bowling started off the 2024 by winning the Salina South Triangular at The Alley in Salina. Mac Collins, SR, was the individual medalist and Zayden Hughes, FR, was the 3rd place medalist. The boys set a new school for high series with a 1561 score. All six boys were able to contribute in reaching this score. Elizabeth Ohl, JR, is the only girl competing this season. She started the year by setting career bests in high game and series. Good work Gorillas!! ❤️🎳🎳❤️

Seniors and Senior Parents: Please mark this reschedule on your calendar.

🚨Schedule Changes🚨

🚨 Stay warm and travel safe!

Dear Parents/Guardians,
Due to anticipated severe weather conditions, our school will close early today at 1:30 PM for the safety of all students and staff. Weather is supposed to move in between 3:30-4 PM, and we want to give our drivers enough time to get kids home safely.
Please make arrangements to ensure that your child is picked up at 1:30 PM. There will be no afterschool activities like practices, scholars bowl, or afterschool programs.
We will also be CANCELLING SCHOOL for tomorrow. NO SCHOOL, Tuesday January 9th. High winds and snow will make for blizzard-like conditions.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding in this matter. Stay warm and travel safe!
Sincerely,
USD #393 Solomon Administration

It's a GREAT week to be a Gorilla!
Stay tuned for schedule changes.

SAVE THE DATE! January 11th, 2024!
Senior Parents, you will receive details regarding our FAFSA information night in the mail. (The invite says 2023; you are not late! I am in denial that graduation will be upon us soon!) It is a great night to find out all you need about applying for Federal Aid, which many scholarships and colleges require for you to receive financial assistance. Make plans to spend the evening with the experts! You'll need to do some things in advance, so please read the information when you receive it. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Mrs. Howard.
