Apply Kansas is an annual statewide campaign in which high schools conduct events to help seniors apply to college with their peers and with help, guidance, and a cheering squad from their school! There is no application fee to apply to participating schools during this time.
Last Friday, the college English Comp I class had an amazing time at Hale Library at Kansas State University! They explored resources for their upcoming research papers, toured the library, enjoyed lunch at the Union, and took part in exciting activities like an innovation lab scavenger hunt, designing laser-printed name tags, and making one-button studio videos about why Solomon High School is the best! Our seniors are taking advantage of Apply Kansas Week! Over the last several weeks, they have researched majors, colleges, tech schools, and programs. If they choose to, they are applying to post-secondary schools and programs this week. Stay tuned for more updates!
