Camp Gorilla students received a yummy treat today from Megan and Isaac Carolan and Blue Dream Snow Cones! Great community members giving back to the kids. You should have seen their faces when the kids heard they were getting snow cones! Thank you so much!

We have opened up a few more spots for Little Gorilla Dance Camp on July 13th and 14th. If your child was in K-5th grade this year, come dance with the Solomon High School Dazzler Dance Team for a couple of days and then dance in the Solomon Festival Parade with us Friday night! You can sign up your child by emailing jhoward@ usd393.net. Payments can be made at the district office and are due by Monday, July 3.

Stop by and check out Solomon's new little free library! Located next to the district office. Enjoy some good summer reading, books for all ages!

Week 3's theme at Camp Gorilla was construction and LEGOS! The kids explored and talked about the construction going on and designed their own rooms.
Kinetic sand, painting, airplanes, building with dominoes, and toothpicks/ marshmallows were just some of their fun activities.

Online Registration for the 23-24 school year is now open. To find the registration link go to www.usd393.net and click on the Parent tab. If you have returning students you will need to log into your Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Email abaize@usd393.net for help logging into your parent portal.

Week 2 at Camp Gorilla was an ocean and pirate theme! Students dug for hidden treasures, made slime, painted fish with vegetables, solved Morse code, created edible submarines, played ocean vocabulary bingo, talked about friendship, and so much more.

Week 1 of Camp Gorilla was all about space! The fantastic staff created fun and engaging activities in math, reading, STEM, SEL, team building, science, puzzles/ games, arts & crafts, and snack/ storytime.

Hope all are having a fun summer! For those that like to plan ahead, here are the 2023-2024 school supplies needed for grades K-8.
