October was a busy month for Solomon Elementary & Middle School students. Mock trials, many office celebrations, birthday tables, SSAG challenges, and Halloween fun were just a few of the events.

Solomon Gorilla Foundation is starting an ongoing fundraising program for community members to help support the school. The program is RaiseRight, formerly Scrips. Once you have signed up you can buy digital gift cards from many big-name retailers. Every time you purchase a gift card through the program Solomon gets a small percentage of each purchase.
We wrapped up Red Ribbon Week Monday with a teamwork project. Classrooms worked to make posters encouraging healthy mental and physical choices. The theme was Be Kind to your Mind
