The 1st-5th Grade Basketball Camp will be held from 2:30-4:00 PM in the High School gym.

Tonight's JV girls game will begin early, starting at 5:00 pm. It will be followed by a JV boys game. Varsity girls will start at 6:00 pm in the HS gym followed by varsity boys. During halftime of the boys game, our dance team will perform. See you then!

The MS STEM Class raced their CO2 Cars yesterday. The student winner was Dylan Capsey and faced off against Mr. Douglas in the finals. The students will be completing an essay over the coming days on what they learned and hypothesize why their cars won or lost.

The 1st-5th Grade Basketball Camp will be held tomorrow morning from 8:30 - 10:00 AM. The activities door entrance will be open at 8:00 AM. It’s not to late to get signed up. We will take registration at the door. Look forward to seeing our future Gorilla basketball players!

Due to changes from our opponent, our games for tomorrow have changed. In the HS gym, we will start at 5:00 with 1/2 of B girls, followed by A girls and then A boys. In the MS gym, we will start at 5:00 with B boys followed by a boys C scrimmage and a girls C scrimmage.

Middle School Girls Basketball shirts should be completed & delivered Wednesday. Middle School Boys Basketball shirts had to be reordered and resent by companies due to an error in vinyl printing. They should be ready middle of next week. Sorry for the inconvenience.

We hope this message finds you well! As we approach the Thanksgiving Break, we have been thinking about and are so thankful for the many successes of our students during this school year. They continue to make us so proud because of their focus, dedication, work ethic, and resiliency. In this season of reflection and gratitude, we also wanted to take a moment to simply and sincerely say “Thank You!” for everything you have done, are doing, and will continue to do to help and support our students, our teachers, and our school community. Solomon Middle School Cheer team raised money at their Pink Out Football game this October and along with BIG Red T's donated $500 to the Ballou Family to assist with their classmate Hayden's medical expenses. Pictures with a few members of the cheer team are Cheer Coach Ashlynn Guerrero and Hayden's mother Ashley Ballou.

Reminder: Tomorrow is picture retake day. If any students need retakes on their school pictures they will be here tomorrow morning.

We are excited to welcome Sheila Hasenkamp and her presentation of "8 minutes" tomorrow for our 7th-12th graders. Her topic focuses on her son's experience with alcohol poisoning. A story about a choice and a second chance!

Big Red T's Designed and Made T-shirt's for SHS/SMS Cheer Friday Night Pink Out Games in October. Between t-shirt sales and donations. Both organizations combined and donated $500 to the Elsie Brooks Foundation of Dickinson County. Gorilla Robotics competed at Wichita State University today. They have worked hard all year and did a great job representing our school.
