
Tomorrow night's JV girls game will only be a half and will start at 3:45. JV Boys will follow at 4:30 with Varsity girls at 6:00 and boys to follow. Come cheer on the Gorillas as we take on Wichita Classical!

There will be a meeting during SSAG tomorrow ( Friday, January 27) for all current Sophomores and anyone interested in enrolling in Salina Tech Technical Education courses (Welding, CNA, Auto, Diesel, HVAC, etc.) for the 23-24 school year. If your student is even slightly interested, please encourage them to attend. I will send the information home with the students. The annual government class trip to the capitol. We took the history tour, sat in on a session of the House, and met with Representative Scott Hill. The seniors were able to ask many good (and maybe not so good..) questions!




Join us tomorrow night as we honor our 8th graders in their last home game of middle school against Canton-Galva. Games start at 3:30 with recognition between the A girls and boys game around 7:00 pm.

The 7th grade is working on Cereal Box Book Reports.If you have any lying around, we are in need of more cereal boxes to complete this project. Please send any empty cereal boxes to your child's homeroom teacher or the office, and I can collect them from there. Thank you!

Homecoming crowning is tonight at halftime of the boys game. Come watch Emma Boyer, Macey Maddy, Cadence Fleming, Logan McMillen, Evan Thompson and Scott Robinson as two are crowned King and Queen.

Justin Aaron from the Voice will be at Solomon Schools on Tuesday, Jan. 17th. He will be singing at 1:00 for the 7-12 grades and again at 2:00 for the preK - 6 grades. Parents are invited to come hear him as well.


The art and library classes teamed up to participate in the Traveling Mural Project. Solomon students created a sunflower mural which we cut apart and sent to 9 different schools across the country. Our students learned the importance of collaborating, creating, and connecting!



Seniors and Senior Parents! It's that time of year again. Make sure you are looking at all of the scholarship opportunities right here in Dickinson County.

The middle school and high school students had the opportunity to hear from Newbery award winning author, Clare Vanderpool. We are thankful she was able to share her love for reading and writing with our Solomon students!
