
The first grade made gingerbread houses today. They had so much fun! They each turned out their own masterpiece. They were so proud of their hard work. Hope they don't all get eaten up tonight! ;)

It is that time of the year to select the Solomon Gorilla Hall of Fame inductees. We will need all nominations submitted by January 15, 2023. Reminder we are taking nominations for Hall of Fame areas of: Student, student athlete, or post graduation success, Solomon Staff Selection, and Service to Solomon nominees, as well as selection for a Solomon TEAM.
Please email jcoup@usd393.net to receive a nomination ballot. Committee will meet in February to select the 2023 class!
Presentation will be next Fall at the Rural Vista home football game!

Yesterday, first grade created a Christmas tree craft for their Fun Friday. They all did such a great job on this project!❄️🎄




4th grade had fun helping 1st graders make paper candy canes

The Tri-County Classic continues tonight at Ell-Saline and Saturday at KWU. On Saturday, admission for everyone will be $5.00. This is the same price for adults and students!

K-3 and 9-12 Can Drive ends tomorrow-4-8 goes until Tuesday 12-13. We have exceeded our goals! If you would like to support Operation Gorilla Family in Different ways. Our Angel Tree still has seven families to adopt! Go to DSO and choose a family off of the tree.


A few quick reminders as we head into the winter/flu season. If your child is experiencing symptoms, please do not send them to school. Secondly, if you wish for your child to be tested we have the ability now to test for Influenza A and B as well as COVID. It is ONE test and can save you a trip to the doctor, if you wish.
Finally, we will hold our monthly Facebook LIVE this Sunday at 7:30pm. We will cover end of semester items, building updates, student-led businesses, and answer your questions.

Mrs. Rizzo's 1st Grade used their problem-solving skills from Mrs. Howard's counseling lesson to work together to build a structure out of the 120 cans and food items they have collected for the food drive this week!
