Tomorrow's HS track meet at Marion has been moved up to start at 3:00 pm.
We are so thankful to the KSLS- Salina for sponsoring our TrigStar test this morning! Students competed for scholarships and were able to see how trigonometry is used regularly by Land Surveyors. Proud of these kids for preparing for a very tough exam

Congratulations to our 2022 Prom King and Queen, Megan LePage and Ryan Gray.

Outstanding day for these 3 musicians. Katherine Ford, Colin Price and Logan Hammersmith all received the top rating of a 1 at regional solo and ensemble competition. This means all 3 will get to continue on and play at state on April 30th at Hesston. Great job to these kids.

Alright Alright Alright, our students are turning in their assignments. Incentive party for students who have less that 10 missing assignments.

Here is the summer football calendar. We have a ton of opportunities this summer. This

Congrats are in order to these 5th graders. The morning events were a challenge, but some success came with Sumobots. Both teams advanced with first round wins. One team went out in round 2 due to a technicality while the other was out in the round of 16, lightest robot advanced.

The Stem Club members are ready to represent Solomon at the Lego Robotics competition at FHSU.

Thanks FFA for the Kiddie Barnyard! We had a great time.

Mrs. Depew’s 4th graders took what they have been learning about multiplying fractions and created a Slime recipe that would be enough for their group. After getting their measurements they went around and measured out their ingredients to make their slime. Thank you Mr. Wolfe for the collaborative idea.

Second graders spent some counseling time looking for the Lirpa Loof and its eggs. Lirpa Loofs are rare birds that can only be seen in this area during a very small window of time.
They are attracted to carrots and the sound of their own name said quickly, three times, in a high pitch. Students first read a news article, then listened for and followed the Lirpa's calls and eventually discovered some of its eggs before returning to the building.
