5th grade activity to help “see” the lunar phases and learn them

As the school year has started, we have noticed some significant challenges. The safety of our students during drop-off times before and after school is very critical.
In the first two weeks of school, we have had close encounters on three occasions. We are very fortunate that no one was hurt. We have implemented a cross guard at three locations. Thanks to our high school Junior and Senior students volunteering their time. GREAT TO GIVE BACK!
Please help us by following the changes on the map below.
1. All EAST parking after school will drive South and NOT turn at the Pine/7th Street intersection.
2. Parents or community members picking up on 7th street (JH students), all traffic will flow EAST to WEST. Please use 6th street to come up Pine and turn WEST onto 7th Street. This allows all passenger doors to face the school.
3. Williams Street Pick-up/Drop Off (Elem students)-- ONLY a RIGHT turn allowed; please do NOT come back to 7th street unless you are picking up a JH student.
4. Students and community members, please only cross the road at the crosswalks.
The safety of our students is the FIRST priority. Help us in keeping everyone safe. If you have any questions, please feel free to let us know.
Sincerely,
Justin Coup, Superintendent
