Reporters Zoe Smith and Emma Farmer interviewed Katherine Ford about her involvement in band and her experience as a musician under Caleb Smith's tuteledge.

Instrument: Trumpet
Why did you want to play this instrument? I didn’t want to play the trumpet but Mr. Smith made me play it instead of flute and then I fell in love with playing it.
Do you have a favorite song you like to play? I don’t have a favourite song but I do prefer playing jazz music a lot more than pep or concert music.
Do you plan to take your skills further than high school? I definitely plan on taking my skills further than high school.
Note: Katherine also play piano, guitar, flute, and piccolo.
