As we continue Career and Technical month, we celebrate sophomore Logan Brewer and his acceptance into the AutoTech Program at Salina Area Technical College. Throughout the two-year program, students will learn the knowledge and skills needed to properly maintain, repair and troubleshoot various automotive components including, steering, transmission, suspension, drive trains, brakes, and electrical systems, among many others. In addition to class time, students will gain valuable hands-on experience with real-world automotive service jobs so that when they do graduate, they’re ready to go to work. We are excited to hear about your progress Logan!

February is Career and Technical Month and today we celebrate Sophomore Mac Collins for being accepted into the Diesel Technology program at SATC for the 2022-2023 School Year! Diesel Tech is a two year program at Salina Area Technical College. Programs are filling fast. If your Junior or Senior has interest in Salina Area Tech Programming in the fall. 4th grade was gifted by the Dickinson County Water Festival program today. They were generous to still deliver the students their goodie bags even though the water fest was cancelled! The kids were so excited for their hats and new bags. Several were not sure what the poncho was for.
