Some roads are clothes shut in the country. For those coming from Salina due to several stuck cars from last night wreckers are on highway 40 pulling people out this morning. I would use interstate or country club. our bus drivers will be contacting parents if they are unable to run the route today. 90% of the roads are travelable, however if you wish to keep your child home today please call the office. Jennifer will be in the office at 8:00 a.m. to take your calls.
Due to the high winds we already have roads in our area difficult to pass. With the forecasted windchill and the roads, we will start at 10:00am on Friday, Jan. 19th. We want to give our bus drivers daylight and the ability to communicate with parents as they begin the routes tomorrow. Doors will open at 9:30am tomorrow. Dress warm Gorillas!

With all the recent change to schedules here is an updated schedule of the remaining HS basketball regular season games.
Senior government students visited the Capitol today. They took the history tour, sat in on a session of the House, and visited with some of Solomon's representation- Senator Claeys and Rep. Hill.
During the Solomon Gorilla Foundation Cornhole Tournament on Saturday, January 27th, the Solomon Middle School Cheerleaders will be serving walking tacos for $5 from 2-5 pm. Our very own Bush’s Market is providing meat!
Bowling meet this afternoon in Salina is still on. Good luck to our bowlers.
There will be NO SCHOOL TUESDAY, Jan. 16th, due to the new snow on country roads starting to blow shut and dangerous wind chills tomorrow morning. Hope to see everyone on Wednesday. Stay safe and warm.
