community service

On November 26th the Solomon High School was able to give back to the community by participating in Gorilla Clean-Up before they left for Thanksgiving Break. Gorilla Clean-Up is where students and staff rake leaves at community member’s households and community areas, such as the baseball field, City Hall, and Heritage Manor. The high school students were split up in their SSAG groups and were given areas to go to. They raked 31 yards and filled over 500 trash bags with leaves. They also helped clean remaining sandbags downtown. While talking to Mr. Seidl he said, “he hopes that next year we will be able to rake more yards.”
