FBLA wants to thank ALL the staff at USD393 for their part in member student success! Mrs. Livingston’s Graphic Design class run the student-based business Silverback Customs. These students/FBLA members worked really hard at getting the gifts produced. 💗🦍
In small group counseling, we talked about Beautiful OOPS! . Mistakes happen and we can’t undo them, but we can learn from them and turn things around. We practiced by taking mistakes written on paper and transforming them into creative projects.

Solomon hosted a quad meet Feb 10th at The Alley in Salina.
The boys finished 2nd behind Hesston and Washington County and ahead of Sacred Heart. In doing so, the boys set new school records for team high game (twice) with a 665 the first game and 687 the second game. They also set the school record for team high series, 1944!
Isaac H led the boys with a PR game of 232 and a PR series of 635, tying the school record, Isaac was also 2nd place medalist. Other PR's for the boys was Zayden H with a 188 game and 489 series.
On the girls side Aspen B led the way with a 117 game and 344 series. Aspen was the 3rd place medalist!
The Gorillas are in action next Monday in Junction City.

Housekeeping Items:
✔️ The first meeting will be held on March 9th, and attendance at this meeting is mandatory for all participants in order to participate in the April classes.
✔️ Following the initial meeting, students will attend three Saturday classes in April (11th, 18th, and 25th) to complete the program requirements.
✔️ Driving training begins in May (dates determined in class)
✔️ Must be 14 years of age before driving training begins

Our junior high students rolled up their sleeves and got to work practicing real-world interview skills. They took turns as both the interviewee and the interviewer, focusing on professional greetings, confident handshakes, eye contact, restating questions, and thoughtful responses.
It’s never too early to build strong interview habits. Thank you, Mrs. Livingston, for empowering our students and giving them a head start on skills they’ll use for years to come.
