Solomon has always been a town built on hard work, pride, and people who go above and beyond for others. That’s why the Hall of Fame here in Solomon means so much—it’s a way to honor those who’ve truly made a lasting impact on our community.
The committee would love for people to nominate someone who represents the very best of Solomon: a person who consistently shows up, gives back, and makes a difference not for recognition, but because they genuinely care. Whether through years of service, leadership, mentorship, or quiet acts of kindness, their contributions have helped shape the spirit of this school & town.
Recognition like this isn’t just about celebrating the past—it’s about showing future generations what it means to be part of a strong, connected community. Let’s take the time to acknowledge those who’ve helped make Solomon what it is today.
If you know someone who deserves it, don’t hesitate to speak up. Great communities are built by great people—and they deserve to be remembered. Use the link to nominate those deserving Gorilla Family members:

Students made pate choux and vanilla cream. They stuffed the pate choux with pudding to form a pyramid with carmelized sugar and spin it to decorate with fine hairs of sugar! What a tasty way to learn specialized skills. Great job Gorillas 🦍

Our Powerlifting season continued this weekend with a trip to the KEMFA State Powerlifting meet in Claflin.
Solomon students Matt Hamm-Jones and Aidyn Sreap attended with Coach Krause, leaving at 5:30 in the morning, entirely of their choice! They *cleaned* up at the competition too 💪
Aidyn tied for 11th in his weight class for Bench and Clean, matching his PRs.
Matt got 10th in Bench, matching his PR, 7th in Squat, and 2nd in Clean, with a new PR of 295 lbs. Overall, that got him 6th in his weight class.
Great job Gorilla students for challenging yourselves physically and mentally and to Coach Krause for supporting their passions. There is an extracurricular for everyone at Solomon which makes us #solomonproud

What an incredible week of athletics on our campus!
Over the past week, we were proud to host three major events, including our powerlifting meet and two track meets, all right here on our amazing facilities. In total, we welcomed 498 athletes from 30 schools.
Events like these don’t happen without an amazing support system. We had 58 adult volunteers and 52 student volunteers step up to help make everything run smoothly.
We are beyond grateful for each and every volunteer who gave their time and energy. Your dedication makes all the difference, and we couldn’t do it without you.
THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this past week a success!
We have 2 track meets left if you would like to join in on the fun April 24 & 25th.
