Our little gorillas in Kindergarten are leveling up their literacy game with Headbandz! One partner sounds out the mystery word, while the other spells it—uppercase, lowercase, and all. It’s teamwork, phonics, and a whole lot of giggles.

Our little gorillas at the Early Learning Center celebrated World Kindness Day, Nov 13, by donating food items for the blessings box. Great job ELC crew for demonstrating kindness and community to the young generation #TeachingKindnessYoung #Empathy #GOrillas

Ann Bush of Bush's Market gave Solomon High School FBLA members a business tour on 11/10 and discussed the impact her local grocery store has had in the Solomon community. She also shared some challenges and successes she has experienced owning/operating her families' business over the years.

As we gear up to launch Operation Gorilla Family, we will be kicking off the donation drive Friday, November 21st with canned goods. As our high schoolers rake leaves in local lawns, a group will also be collecting canned goods. Please set these on your front porch for collection 1PM-4PM

As we wrap up the 2025 Fall semester at Solomon Schools, we’re launching the first-ever Gorilla Voice Forum—a space for collaborative conversation and community-driven priorities. Join students, families, staff, alumni, local businesses, and community partners on Tuesday, November 18 at 6:30 PM in the District Commons Area to share your ideas, experiences, and vision for what’s next. Our high school choir traveled to Tabor College for the Wheat State League Choral Festival on Tuesday and had a blast showcasing their hard work. We're excited to hear your talents December 15th for the PreK-12 Fine Arts Nights, gorillas!
