Operation Gorilla Family saw tremendous success this year thanks to the unwavering support of the Solomon community-and especially the generosity of Sunbelt Solomon. Each year, new improvements strengthen the program, and this year Sunbelt Solomon partnered with the school to help supplement the needed donations. Because of this collaboration, OGF will support 30 families, 25 senior citizens, and 69 children through the Angel Tree program this year alone.

Sunbelt Solomon brought creativity and enthusiasm to the food and hygiene drive by launching an internal department challenge to see who could contribute the most. Congratulations to the North group, Sales, Human Resources, and Miscellaneous teams for leading the way with the highest number of donations!

In total, Sunbelt Solomon donated 863 items, and corporate generously matched monetary contributions for an additional $1,210.

Our high school basketball teams traveled to Washington County today. The girls were defeated 25-55. The boys came home champions of the Panther Invitational defeating Washington County 58-44 and ending the week 3-0.

Caylee plans to attend college to earn her degree in Art Education. She has a passion and wicked talent for art. She has attended Solomon from kindergarten to 12th grade and has made a lot of fun memories along the way. She shouts out high school teacher Kjell Nordgren for sparking an interest in history. Caylee quotes a line from Dead Poets Society, a movie she loves because it tells the story of the impact a teacher can have on students. Keep up the hard work - we can't wait to see where you land! 🦍
