Here’s to Mykia — a standout student‑athlete who continues to raise the bar. This year, Coach Kjell Nordgren nominated him for the prestigious KCCTFCA Cross Country Academic All‑State list. To qualify, students must be a Junior or Senior, hold a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher, and place in the top 30 at the XC State Championships — a true testament to Mykia’s grit, discipline, and academic excellence.
From breaking Cross Country records to maintaining an exceptional GPA, his dedication shines on and off the course. Mykia is eager to keep pushing his limits as he plans to walk on to his college’s XC team. We’re cheering him on as he takes this next step and can’t wait to see the new records he’ll set in the future!

Aaliyah plans to attend Hays Academy of Hair Design after graduation with a specialized interest in makeup. She's grateful to Senior 101 for helping to lay out the steps she took to decide on her future and how to get involved in this career field.
